Please read the following before you apply for admission to Xavier School, Gamharia

1. Requirements for admission

NURSERY	LKG	UKG
Mandatory Documents :- a. Birth Certificate • Municipality / Corporation • Notified Area Committee • Office of Births & Deaths b. Post-Card size family photo (Father, Mother and Student who is taking admission should be in middle) c. Aadhar Card of the student d. ST / SC / OBC - Caste certificate issued by BDO/CO e. The application for admission must be duly filled in and must submit the same online after paying Rs. 300/- online as cost of the form.

Age Limit for Nursery: 16th September 2021 to 15th September 2022 (2^1/2 – 3^1/2 years)

Age Limit for LKG: 16th September 2020 to 15th September 2021 (3^1/2 – 4^1/2 years)

Age Limit for UKG: 16th September 2019 to 15th September 2020 (4^1/2 – 5^1/2 years)

2.Attach the supporting documents with the application form

a. 15th December, 2024 : Last date of submission of duly filled in admission form online.

b. Make sure that Submission of Filled admission form hardcopy on or before 18th December, 2024

c. Entrance Test for UKG: : Thursday, 23rd January 2025
Reporting to school at 09:00 a.m. Exam Time:09:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

d.Exam Subjects:- English - 25 Marks (30 mins), Maths - 25 Marks (30 mins)

e.Your ward’s admission to Xavier School will be subject to the availability of seats and a pass in the entrance test conducted by the school in English Language and Mathematics.

f. Result for Nursery, LKG and UKG :
25th January 2025 in school website (www.xavierschool.in) (after 02:00 p.m.)
26th January 2025 on the School Notice Board at 08:00 a.m.

g. No donation / pressures
Xavier School, Gamharia does not accept any donation for admissions either directly or indirectly. Should anyone requests / demands donations from you in the name of the school or take money from you with the guarantee of your ward’s admission into any class, please report the matter to the school authorities immediately.

h. Rejection after admission
Any discrepancy discovered in the birth certificate or in the above procedure will lead to automatic cancellation of the seat and there will be no refund of fees.

Admission for Std. XI (Session 2025-27)

Application forms for Std. XI will be available online from 5th November 2024 to 18th December 2024.

You can access the application form from school website www.xavierschool.in

The application for admission must be duly filled in and must submit the same online after paying Rs. 500/- as cost of the form.

Information regarding admission to Std. XI (Plus – I)

Please read the following before you apply for admission to Xavier School

1.Requirements :-

a.In Std. IX & X
Code 001 : An average of 55% marks in English, History/Civics & Geography
Code 002 : An average of 60% marks in English, Economic Applications / Computer Applications
Code 003 : An average of 65% marks in English, Science (Phy, Chem & Bio) & Computer Applications
Code 004 : An average of 65% marks in English, Maths, Science (Phy & Chem) & Computer Applications

b.Attested photocopy of the Progress Report card (Std. IX & Std. X).

c.Copy of the Aadhar Card

d.Attested photocopy of any one of the following :
i. Baptismal certificate ( in case of a Catholic / Christian)
ii. Birth Certificate from the
Muncipality / Corporation
Notified Area Committee
Office of births and deaths

e.ST/SC/OBC – Caste certificate issued by BDO / CO/ SDO / DC

f.Children with special needs – Medical proof

g.Medical issue related certificates

h.Permanent Education Number (PEN)

Attach the supporting documents with the application form

1.Passport size photograph of the candidate should be attached to the application form

2.18th December : Last date of submission of duly filled in admission form online

3.After filling the complete form, take the printout and submit it to the school office along with all the required photocopies of the documents from 19th December 2024 to 23rd December 2024 in between 09:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

4.Entrance test will be held on Saturday, 18th January 2025

Reporting to the school at 09:00 a.m.

Exam Time :- 09:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Exam Subjects :- English – 50 marks for all streams (1 hr),
Maths – 50 marks for Science Pure
Biology – 50 marks for Science Bio
G.K – 50 marks for Commerce & Arts Streams

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR Std. XI

1.Class XI admission will be on the basis of written test & academic performance in Std. IX & X.

2.Results of the written test will be declared in Xavier School Website

3.Candidates qualifying for the written test will be called for counselling.

4.During counselling, original documents will be checked.

5.Seats in Science Stream will be available only for students of ICSE / CBSE Boards.

6.Seats will be available in Commerce / Arts stream from any other Board also.

7.The Council for the ISC, New Delhi permits the school to give Provisional admission to students in Std. XI before the results of the Board Examinations are declared / published.

8.No change of streams will be entertained on the basis of marks scored in ICSE/CBSE examinations.

9.All admissions are provisional and are subject to the candidate passing in the ICSE or equivalent Std. X examination.

10.Admission of students from CBSE or other Boards will be regularized only after the Council for the ISC issues them with an Eligibility Certificate. They have to submit a photocopy of their marksheet to obtain eligibility certificate from the Council.
